Join the LISD Early College High School PTSA Board— Together We Make a Difference!

The Leander ISD Early College High School PTSA is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to supporting our school by encouraging family and community involvement, enriching student experiences, and helping all scholars reach their full potential. Our work includes supporting field trips, social events, scholarships, family programs, advocacy efforts, and more — all aimed at strengthening the ECHS experience for families, students, and staff.

Why Your Involvement Matters

Being part of PTSA means more than just joining a group — it means being part of a community that actively contributes to a thriving school environment. When parents, teachers, and students work together:

  • We support meaningful opportunities for students — from scholarships to student events.
  • We enhance communication between school families and staff.
  • We help make ECHS a more vibrant, inclusive, and impactful place to learn and grow.
  • We ensure family voices are heard on issues that matter.
🚀  We Need You — No Experience Required!

PTSA runs entirely on volunteer passion and leadership — and YOU can make a difference!

Right now, we’re seeking a few amazing people to step into key Board roles for the coming year. This is not intimidating, not time-consuming, and doesn’t require prior experience — just a willingness to help support our students and community.

💜 Here’s the best part:

• You don’t need experience – we’ll show you the ropes and provide training.
• You don’t need a lot of free time – even a few hours a month goes a long way.
• You don’t have to do everything yourself – our team works together, shares tasks, and supports one another.

These roles help keep our PTSA thriving and allow us to continue the programs families love. They truly matter — and we’d love to have you in one of them!

Get Involved — Board Opportunities

The PTSA runs entirely on volunteer passion and leadership. Right now, we are especially seeking new board members to help fill important roles for the 2026-2027 school year. Serving in a leadership position is rewarding, impactful, and a wonderful way to contribute to the success of our students. Open and available opportunities include:

  • Non-signer Reviewer – A quick, flexible way to help behind the scenes! Spend a few minutes each month reviewing financial documents via email to help keep our PTSA transparent, accurate, and accountable—no meetings or finance background required.
  • Hospitality Chair – Show our hardworking teachers and staff how much they’re appreciated throughout the year (especially during Teacher Appreciation Week), coordinate boosting snacks for students on big testing days, and bring a warm, welcoming touch to special school events whenever extra hospitality is needed.
  • Volunteer Coordinator – Connect families and community members with meaningful ways to help by creating easy sign-ups and sharing volunteer needs across the PTSA, school, and district.
  • Scholarship Chair — Help our students discover financial support for their future! Gather information on available scholarship opportunities and keep our PTSA website updated so families can easily find and explore these resources.
  • Advocacy Chair — Keep families informed on important educational issues, legislative updates, and local policies—making it simple for parents to stand up for our students and schools together.
  • Student Representative — Connect your peers to the PTSA! Bring student perspectives, energy, and fresh ideas to our team while gaining great leadership experience and ensuring student voices shape our community efforts.

*Students are welcome and encouraged to be a member of the board! All positions may be held by students except for Treasurer, Secretary, or President, Fundraising and Non-signer Reviewer.
